CD-ROM
The Compact Disc Read-Only Memory is a permanent data storage medium. For example it is used for storing digital maps. Storage capacity is about 700 MB.

DVD-ROM
The Digital Versatile Disc Read-Only Memory is a permanent data medium used for storing digital maps with a higher storage capacity than CD-ROM. Storage capacity: 8.5 GB (dual layer/single side).

C-IQ
VDO Dayton navigation systems support the innovative navigation concept C-IQ – Intelligent Content on Demand. With C-IQ you benefit from a wide range of products including up to date road maps, travel guides and special products for currently more than 20 European countries. Alongside up to 99 % road coverage, the road maps come with free traffic information (TMC)* and details of airports, service stations and town/city centers, for example.

RDS-TMC
TMC is automatically supplied with every road map order. For the UK and Ireland dynamic traffic information can be booked as an alternative (at extra cost). Availability may vary from country to country. TMC receiver required.
Traffic Message Channel offering continuously updated traffic information. All VDO Dayton navigation systems displaying a TMC symbol are equipped with a TMC receiver or may be optionally upgraded.
